Hi. I'm writing a PD version of file for other unixes (mainly 4.2/3)
and I need a VERY complete version of /etc/magic, I've got one
from our local sysV machine, but I fear it is very far from
complete. I remember some years ago a discussion of magic numbers
in net.unix-wizards, and thought alot were posted. Could some
kind soles out there send me the length of their /etc/magic files
so I could pick the two or three most complete ones out there
to be mailed to me.
The file program and maig file will probably end up in mod.sources when
I'm finished.
