We have an Eikonix 78/99 image digitizer with Unibus interface
arriving soon, and we want to connect it to our VAX running 4.2BSD
(soon 4.3).
Unfortunately, Eikonix has no UNIX driver available, only one for VMS.
I'm resigned to writing a driver from scratch, but would really
appreciate obtaining one from elsewhere if it exists.
Any sort of driver for this beast, for any version of UNIX, would
be helpful. My boss may be able to come up with some money if that's
required, though we're not rich.
We're also willing and interested in trading software for the Eikonix
with other people - both driver and library code for controlling it.
We don't have anything to give away yet (obviously) but we will.
