We have just purchased a new Tally MT660 printer for our uVAX 4.2 (soon to be 4.3) system. Currently I'm working on modifying the lpr filter (a modified /usr/lib/lpf) to take advantage of this printer's underlining and overstrike capability. It also is able to do compression, letter quality mode, , bar codes, block characters, dot graphics, etc. If anybody has already done this or have any examples of how they use this printer to it's fullest potential or anything that might help would greatly speed things up. The filter I'm working on now should be done soon but I still would like to get copies or hints on what you did.
