Does anyone have suggestions/recommendations for an analytic modelling package or hybrid (analytic/simulation) modelling package for use in computer system performance modelling? It should be usable on a Sun workstation. If source is available, Sun supports C, FORTRAN and Pascal. I am considering both academic (presumably cheap) or commercial (presumably expensive) packages.
