I'm looking for two public domain statistical software packages called "eispack" (pronounced ice-pack), and "linpack". I'm also looking for a public domain math package called "matlab". If anyone has any information on these packages, please contact me. Thanks... mike -- Michael A. You send mail to allegra!research!netlib, and a program parses your letter and mails you back what you want (mostly Fortran source to math routines, but some other related stuff too). I know they have eispack and linpack (we've dowloaded routines from both). To get started, just mail them a letter reading "send index". -- Roy Smith, {allegra,cmcl2,philabs}!phri!roy System Administrator, Public Health Research Institute 455 First Avenue, New York, NY 10016 "you can't spell deoxyribonucleic without unix!"

Note, y'all: If you're on the internet the address to use is
netlib@anl-mcs.arpa.
Maybe this should be on the list of answers to common questions.
