[comp.sources.wanted] Have source to rn

rsk@j.cc.purdue.edu.UUCP (01/28/87)

Those with access to the Internet may anonymous-ftp rn, news 2.11, nntp,
ease and some other items from "j.cc.purdue.edu". Look in the subdirectory
"pub", and consult the file "README" therein for details. Please note that
rn has had all of the 39 (at this time) patches already applied to it.
Regretfully, I can't offer to send these items over uucp; they're quite large,
and all of our uucp traffic is gatewayed through another site.

I anyone out there able to make some alternate arrangment to obtain this
patched-up version of rn? Like going over with a tape? Would DangerWombat
be interested in this? Perhaps, if someone could obtain the stuff in some
alternate way, it could be loaded onto a uucp-available machine.

Good idea? Bad idea?
