I'm looking for a Unix-based (4.2bsd) telephone message router program that can be used by receptionists who think vi is a roman numeral and that emacs is a long-extinct, weird-looking bird (no editor wars, *please*). In other words, it must be *simple*. Optimally, it would be a painfully simple front end to the mailer and not the mailer itself (you'd be surprised at the number of people who won't or can't learn to use the mailer, because to edit they must pop into one of the previously-mentioned editors). It would be nice if it were screen oriented, too. Does anyone have anything like that out there that they're willing to pass on? Please, reply to me directly, if you can route yourself to me; otherwise, over the net will do. I'll post a summary sometime if I get anything useful. Thanks, -- Mitchell McLain ...hplabs!tektronix!sequent!gssc!mmm Opinions are my own, not those of GSS (they're happy about that).
