I seem to recall that there was a program posted a while ago that would call up a number and synchronize to the National Bureau of Standards time. I know that a friend of mine has such a program for his Mac, but I'm sure that I saw one for a Unix system. I was very surprised when I found that I hadn't saved it! Anyhow, if someone out there has any information about what number to call and what format the time comes back to you in, or if they have the program that I am pretty sure was posted to net.sources or mod.sources (I haven't seen anything that looks obviously like it in the mod.sources archive, but the name might not be obvious), would you please let me know. If the info and/or program is reasonably short, just mail it to me, otherwise just mail me a message saying that you have it. If it is in the mod.sources archive, mailing me the name would be sufficient and a great help. Anyhow, thanks for reading. marcus hall ..!ihnp4!ihlpl!marcus
