The original recipe that I got off of the net gave the ingredients for the "Deadly Fudge" as 3 tbsp. of butter and 1.5 tbsp of Karo syrup. Also the Karo was not mentioned as an optional ingredient. The rum was given as only 1 tbsp instead of the 3 tbsp mentioned in the recent version. Are these errors or are they just changes that make the fudge even better? Oh yes one more thing, in the original recipe, before the fudge sets, one was to cut it with a warm knife that was coated with butter. It was claimed that this was one's last chance to cut it.
