Has anybody out there ever written a block device driver under MS-DOS (or any other DOS for that matter)? If someone has something that is public domain I'd like to take a look at it... a skeleton would be fine! Thank you all in advance. Shahram. shahram@cs.ucla.edu

Two that I know of are the IBM PC-DOS Technical Manual which includes the source code for ramdisk program, and "Advanced MS-DOS" by (I think) Ray Duncan and Published by Microsoft Press. The latter book is truly excellent and goes into considerable detai writing and using DOS device drivers. Check you local bookstore. -- Peter Fales UUCP: ...ihnp4!ihlpe!psfales work: (312) 979-7784 AT&T Information Systems, IW 1Z-243 1100 E. Warrenville Rd., IL 60566
