We have a Sun3 with serial ports and a printer that has been on order for several years. In the meantime I would like to use our Apple Laserwriter as a Diable 630 printer. (The Laserwriter has a special mode that makes it Diable 630 compatable). I would appreciate it if someone would send me the correct printcap entry that would make this possible. Thanks in Advance. Speaking of printcap, does anyone know of a public domain version of printcap , modemcap, etc. available? If so, where? I have perused the mod.sources indexes and was unable to locate such a creature; I have not seen the comp.sources indexes yet so I do not know if such a creature exists there. Thanks! -- Larry W.
