The following is a recipe for the gooiest brownies ever. They have produced quite a rave whenever served. When you do make them, be prepared to pass along the recipe - there will be a great demand for it. Enjoy!!!! Caramel Filled Brownies 1 chocolate cake mix 2/3 cup evaporated milk 1/2 cup butter (melted) 1/2 cup chopped nuts - choose your favorite 6 oz chocolate chips 14 oz bag of Kraft caramels Unwrap the caramels. Melt them with 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk. If you are using a conventional stove, use a double boiler. If a microwave, use a large Pyrex type bowl, at high power for 3-4 minutes. Stirring after half the time. Meanwhile, add the cake mix, the melted butter, and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Add chopped nuts. Spread half of the batter in a 9x13 cake pan. Bake for 6 min. at 350 degrees. Remove from the oven. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Pour caramel over chips. With the rest of the cake batter, form balls. Flatten with hand and place on top of caramel. (You do not need to cover entirely.) Return to oven and bake for 18 min. Allow to cool. Cut into squares (about 24). AMV
