About a year and a half ago, I wrote a short cookbook as a holiday greeting for friends and relatives. Since all the recipes were phototypeset, they are available on the computer. I thought I would post them to the net in small batches. Most of the recipes are from reputable sources (though not always credited). Quite a few of them have been modified by me so that they are easier to make or so that they are more emphatic. If you detect a bias toward strong flavors and dramatic combinations, you are probably right. Good eating. Charles Wetherell
