A few years ago there was several help commands for unix discussed. At the time the system that I was using had a very poor news feed. Now that things have somewhat improved, I would like to find out what FREE software is available to a Ultrix/Unix site for a help command. What I am wondering about is a facility which would allow one to add info files for local commands, and have much pithier and FASTER response than a man command. Also, some intelligence would be nice in the software so that folks who have problems with their terminals misspelling what they type :-) or who have a vague idea of what they want to do will find some usefulness in the command. Please let me know WHAT you know about rather than sending me all that delightful source initially; I do not want to innundate the system . Thanks! -- Larry W.
