The July '87, UNIX Review (the Electronic Publishing issue) discussed "psfig", which is software that permits including Postscript files within TROFF text. It was also a Summer '87 Usenix topic (Phoenix). Is this software public? If so, I'd appreciate a copy. If not, who owns it? Thanks in advance for any help! =========== Gary Engel ARPA: engel@lll-tis.arpa; UUCP: {ames,ihnp4,ptsfa}!lll-tis!engel ===========

Psfig, a package that allows the inclusion of PostScript figures in ditroff can be gotten via anonymous ftp from linc.cis.upenn.edu as the file ~ftp/pub/psfig/troff.tar. It will be posted to comp.sources.unix shortly, for those without ftp. It is free for use by anyone who doesn't try to sell it, etc... There is also a version of psfig for TeX, in a file ~ftp/pub/psfig/tex.tar. An older version of psfig/tex was posted to mod.sources about 6-9 months ago. --tjd trevor@linc.cis.upenn.edu | trevor@grasp.cis.upenn.edu University of Pennsylvania CIS dept. 200 S. 33rd st.
