                               Fried Apples

       Ingredients

       3-6         sliced and cored apples
       2-3 Tbl     butter
       1-2 Tbl     brown sugar

       Method

       Heat a heavy skillet and melt the butter.  Saute the apples
       until they are tender.  If necessary, stir in a little brown
       sugar to sweeten the apples.  Be careful not to burn the
       apples; medium heat for about 10 minutes should do the job.
       Notice that skins are left on the apples to hold slices
       together and to add texture.
