[comp.sources.wanted] Patch port?

nathan@mit-eddie.UUCP (09/25/87)

Has anybody ported the "patch" program to the Ibm-pc?

I began to do it recently, and there are some non-obvious problems
I've run into. Before I spend a lot of time trying to find the place
where an int is assumed to be a long, or something of that nature,
has anybody already done this?

If so, please send me mail, and then I'll ask to be sent it (from only
one of the responders). If you think the interest is big enough, you're
of course free to post it.

				Thanks in advance,

Presently there is insufficient evidence to conclude that tribbles spread AIDS.

I would like to get ahold of the patch program myself, whether it's Unix
or PC source. If I get Unix code, I could try to port it to the PC, and make
it available to whoever wants it.
