I've just gone through a bunch of comp.sources.wanted and it seems that 3/4 of it is requests for stuff that is in the comp.sources.unix or comp.sources.games archives. Half of those are from people on the Internet. I got tired of answering these individually, so here's a generic pointer. UUNET.UU.NET keeps full archives of comp.sources.unix and comp.sources.games. These archives are available by anonymous FTP (and by UUCP, to uunet customers). If you are looking for something, try looking there before you post a message to comp.sources.wanted. If you aren't on the Internet, grab a copy of the "comp.sources.unix archive sites and sources index" postings next time they come by. They'll save you a lot of time and trouble; you can just mail a request to a nearby archive rather than hoping somebody on the net will respond.
