[comp.sources.wanted] Pibterm v4.0

NU113738@NDSUVM1.BITNET (10/27/87)

I was wondering if anyone out there has a copy of the pibterm v4.0
source code and/or documentation? I've got the executables and I
need to get some documentation and would really appreciate the source
code. I've heard that its on compuserve but I don't have a compuserve
login. I'd be willing to pay for connect time to compuserve to get
the source.

thanks.

I'm probably going to hate myself in the morning for doing this, but what the
hell - if Phil Burns can take the time to write THAT MUCH code for FREE, the
least I can do in return is help to spread it around a bit. So, to anybody
that wants it, I make the following offer: I will send you the code on floppies
as outlined below.

If you want the source code for PibTerm 4.0, send me either 4 360K or 1 1.2Mb
floppies. If you want the executables and documentation, send me 2 360K or
1 1.2Mb floppies. If you want all of it, send me 6 360K or 2 1.2Mb floppies.
Sorry, no other combinations available - this will be bad enough. Besides, wha
do you want for free?? (:-)

Send the floppies, ALONG WITH a self-addressed, POSTAGE PAID floppy mailer(s)
to the address below. If you would prefer, AND if you have a USR HST9600 (any
slower would take too long), you can contact me to arrange for an electronic
transfer (YOU pay ma bell of course (:-) ). I can support Zmodem, Ymodem batch
Xmodem (regular and 1-K), Windowed Xmodem, Telink, SEAlink, MegaLink, and Kermi
(regular or Sliding Windows). The preferd choices are Zmodem and SuperKermit.

The files will be available in either ARC or ZOO archives only. I think that
covers everything. To those of you not familiar with PibTerm, or who remember
3.25 but didn't like it better than what you're using now (I was one of those),
I suggest you check it out. 4.0 offers almost everything anybody could want as
far as I can tell (except UUCP or FTP (:-) ), and will support any external
protocol modules you want. It is GREAT. Those of you outside of the U.S.
should check it out too - it even has a area code/foreign access code lookup
table built it. Oh, BTW, the source is in TurboPascal.

Oh boy - now I've done it! (:-)
