I need a shell script or a C program that can be called by a shell script
to validate dates. My shell script is an inquiry which utilizes date ranges.
The date range needs to be edited for spaces, valid day, month, and year in the
format of MM/DD/YY. The shell script accesses a Unify Database. I program
on a Gould Powernode 9050, in a BSD 4.3/SYSV environment. If anyone has a
public domain or personal program that I could use, please send it to me
