[net.cooks] Wanted: Iced Tea Recipe

9212mhm (07/02/82)

I'm looking for a recipe for an alcoholic beverage called "iced tea."
My wife had one in a restaurant and loved it, but I cannot find a
recipe. I know it looks and tastes something like regular iced tea,
but better, and with much more of a kick. I know it contains lime
and Coca Cola, and a few liquors, but that's all I know.
Can anyone help me out? The warm weather is already upon us,
and I would really like to relax in the back yard with one of these things.

Actually, this sounds like a request for the "real" planter's punch
recipe for which the mnemonic goes "one of sour, two of sweet, three of strong
and four of weak" which translated is:
In a highball glass (with or without ice), put one ounce of fresh
squeezed lime juice, two ounces of simple syrup, three ounces of medium (amber)
rum and four ounces of water. Stir to combine, and sip in the shade.
