Bruce Springsteen has headed out to LA to complete his next album
with the E Street Band. Before leavig 'Jersey, though, the Boss
stopped by the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and played
an impromptu fourteen song set for a stunned crowd of 200 people -
who had all paid all of $2 to see local fovorites Cats on a Smooth
Surface. Backed by the band, Springsteen scored with a rave-up
version of "Oppen All Night" from Nebraska, another tune entitled
"On the Prowl" and a solid selection of oldies, including "Twist
and Shout", "Wooly Booly" and "Do You Wanna Dance"
