[My apologies for the repost if this appears twice. I did not see it myself.] I am looking for a device driver for a Mountain TD4440 (I think that's the number!) 1/4" cartridge tape drive. It is "generic" in the sense that it is driven by the AT's floppy disk controller. I would prefer a driver for Microport System V, but I'll take anything I can get and hack it up. ("It can't possibly be _that_ hard!", he kids himself :-) Order of preference: 1. Public domain with source 2. Public domain without source 3. Commecial is OK if 1 or 2 is not available Hardware: AT clone running Microport System V/AT release 2.2.0 (where oh where is the long-promised upgrade???) Thanks in advance ... Kenneth R. I would prefer a driver for I would be interested in a driver for an Irwin drive that runs off the floppy controller. My hardware is a: 1) Compaq Deskpro (8086) 2) Compaq's tape drive (Irwin I believe) 10Mb capacity 3) Xenix Sys V (SCO Rel 2.1.3) -- John B.
