[comp.sources.wanted] Looking for graph/tree/dag layout alg.

A year or so ago, someone from the Aerospace Corp
posted an alg for tree/dag (can't remember which) 
layout on (I think?) Apollo workstations. Has
anyone archived this? Please direct answers/me toos
