Can anyone suggest a PC checkbook program? It would be used to keep track
of the bills paid by a volunteer fire department. So it should be able to
"code" bills being paid for summary reports later. If possible it could
also be used to print the checks. It could be commercial or public domain
software.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The (legit.) version I use was originally bundled with the Columbia MPC, so it had to be 'unprotected' and altered to remove some hardware dependencies. (Incidentally, this made it possible to compile it with QuickBasic - essential if you're impatient like me!) I've found it reasonably secure and well-featured. | Philip J.
