This simple dish is always a hit. It can serve up to 20 people, but I've made it for 2 people and frozen some of the leftovers. I think it's a great improvement over ordinary baked beans. Hot Five Bean Dish 1/2 lb. hot pork sausage bulk 1/2 lb. reg./mild pork sausage bulk 1 C. chopped celery 2 C. chopped onions 1 16 oz. can pork and beans 1 16 oz. can kidney beans, drained 1 16 oz. can lima beans, drained 1 16 oz. can yellow (wax) beans, drained 1 16 oz. can green beans, drained 1 Tbs. prepared mustard 1 can tomato soup 1 12 oz. can tomato paste 1 C. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. chili powder Mix all together. (This will initially appear very thick, but the sauce gets thinner as it cooks.) You have a choice of three ways to cook this: 1. 1 1/2 hrs. in an oven at 350 degrees or 2. 4 hrs. in a crock pot on high or 3. all day in a crock pot on low (I have always used one of the crock pot methods.)
