Cuban Pork Chops
Ingredients
2-4 pork chops
1-2 cloves chopped garlic
1 lemon, juiced
salt and pepper to taste
Method
Combine the juice of one lemon, the chopped garlic, perhaps
1/2 tsp salt, and 1 tsp pepper as a marinade. Marinate the
pork chops overnight, making sure that all surfaces are
thoroughly wetted. Grill or fry in dry pan (add a touch of
oil if necessary). A bay leaf may be added to marinade if
desired.
Notes
This marinade works very well with chicken. Don't hesitate
to use quite a quantity of garlic and black pepper. The
pork chops and marinade can be put in a plastic bag
(leakfree) as a convenient way to get the marinade on the
meat.
