Sorry if you already saw this message (in the wrong newsgroup). The eight shar file of perl as received here was truncated after 1800 lines. Are there more sites with this same problem? It seems that most european sites received a truncated version of perl part 8. Meanwhile an undamaged version has been received which will be reposted within the next few days. Does anyone have rz and sz sources. I believe they are written by the same person who wrote DSZ for the PC: Omen Technology. I have a copy of the source now, but they are quite dated and I cannot get them to work properly with the newest dsz for the pc. (I figure he has to have a newer BSD version out their somewhere since he updates his pc versions every month at least) Maybe the sources I have work fine, but I can't get the pc and BSD to talk to each other properly. If you have ANY experience with dsz, please HELP! Thanks Jim Brunke -- ARPA: brunke@vax1.acs.udel.edu

Does anyone know of a public domain cross-assembler for the 6809 that runs on either the MAC or IBM? One of my classes, which has at least 40 students, has a lab which we program in 6809 assembler. The problem is that their are only 4, yes four, working stations (for 40 people). Nothing fancy, just enough to do the basic 6809 stuff. Thanks Jim Brunke -- ARPA: brunke@vax1.acs.udel.edu
