No, that's not a mistake. We really are looking for a Motorola 6800 (not 68000 or 68k) C cross compiler, and we'd like to run it on a VAX 11/750 under 4.1bsd. Yes, we're still running 4.1 even though you've had 4.3 for years. The govenment contracting officer involved will not sign Berkeley's paperwork. When we ask how other contracting officers have managed to sign, ours says "by mistake". Back to the cross compiler. There's a subsystem controller that contains a M6800 and it needs new programs. We'd much rather code the new software in C than assembler, but all we have are Microtec software development tools that don't support any high level languages. I seem to remember hearing about a thing called Tiny C that appeared in Dr. Dobb's. Is it available? Is it worth using? Please, we need help. Thanks. ^^^^ ^^^^ -- Bill Fish Analysis & Technology 321 River Road 153 Williams Street Mystic, CT 06355 New London, CT 06320 (203) 536-3301 (evenings) (203) 444-7722 (days) (203) 536-0137 (2nd line) ihnp4!{hsi,rayssd}!aati!fish
