Has anyone written, or knows about, a plot(5) filter which just fills up a raster of an arbitrary size (hopefully specifiable via command line), then exits? I have a small c function which will dump such a raster to a character oriented devices such as LaserJet or a Dot matrix Graphics printer, which is completely configurable (via Termcap like specifications), but now I need to generate rasters from plot files.
