	Try Fred Fish, or ask almost anyone in one of the Amiga places to
mail you the Fish disk with the 68000 Assembler/Public domain C compiler
source.

The GNU project has what so far appears to be a *very* high quality
C compiler under development.

Contact the Free Software Foundation for status.

It is not public domain but is freely redistributable. The "copyleft"
allows you to make copies for anyone but they must have the same
right and must be given or offered the source code.
