[comp.sources.wanted] XT protocol

john@polyof.UUCP ( John Buck ) (04/10/88)

If anyone wants an XT (layers) protocol driver for BSD systems, send me
some mail, and I'll tell you how you can get a copy from me.

For those who don't know what an XT driver is, it is the piece of software
that allows UNIX to talk multi-plexed windows to your BLIT (5620).

Normally, this is available only under system V. We have both System V and
BSD systems connected to our BLITS, and we wrote this XT driver a long time
so we could use LAYERS (and all the other DMD goodies) on a BLIT.
