I am reposting the following since I understand that a number of news articles were lost from the net around the time it was originally sent out. When replying please mail *directly* using Path: since our news feed is still inter- mittent at best and we do not have an Internet address yet. We are looking for an assembler/linker package that will cross-assemble Motorola 68000 assembly code on a Unix system. The assembler *must* be capable of reading Motorola 68000 assembler source and the linker must be capable of combining various object files into a single object file retaining all symbol information. Our system is a Pyramid 98XE and if someone has something targeted for this machine in particular it would help greatly although porting is pos- sible. The key requirement is the ability to take Motorola 68000 assembler input and run on a Unix system. Can responses please be mailed directly as our news feed is rather unreliable at the moment. Thanks in advance. K Kevin Pickard ...!uunet!mnetor!perle!kevin
