This is being submitted for a mysterious person in my company who posted it, signed only as "The Gargantuan Gourmet"... The World's Fastest Strawberry Mousse Ingredients: 1 pint fresh strawberries 1/2 pint sour cream 1/4-1/2 cup sugar (to taste) 1 Tblsp. vanilla Method: Mix all ingredients in blender and blend well. Freeze and serve in sherbet glass. Serves 4-6 people. Notes (excerpted from his/her ramblings): You can also serve chilled if you don't like the frozen variety. And for a real treat, splash in a jigger of Triple Sec, Grand Marnier, or Cointreau....for those of you wishing to prepare this little treat off-season, substitute a ten-ounce package of frozen strawberries for the fresh ones. ------------------- My Notes: As always, NEVER cut corners on the sour cream or vanilla; use the real stuff...
