What kind of C beautifiers are out there (besides cb)? We are looking for a program that we could use to not just beautify C code but to beautify it into our "company style". I don't know whether this means we would have to modify the code or put things in a database or what. We're open to suggestions. Please send mail. -- Michael Sullivan {uunet|attmail}!vsi!sullivan sullivan@vsi.com HE V MTL Anybody out there remember Max Webster?

Someone out there must have a beautifier that can analyze a set of source code, summarize the stylistic variations, and apply those same variations to any other block of source. I expect a beautifier of this type to function using letter or token patterns from the set of example sources. Oh, you say no one has written one of these yet. Well, lets get to it. :-) Come to think of it, if such a utility does exist, I'd like a copy. I do prefer programs that can adapt and learn, if ony by example. -- oddjob! \ Ray Lampman (lampman@heurikon) husc6! \ Madison Wisconsin USA dogie! \ (608) 276-3431 rutgers! \ ihnp4! \ astroatc! >- uwvax! >- heurikon! >- lampman (Ray Lampman)
