I need some numerical analysis algorithms for use in the C environment. I would prefer the algorithms with source included, written in C. A lot of general stuff would be nice, but specifically, I need (complex?) matrix inversion, and linear equation solution stuff. Does anybody out there have something along these lines? Mark Buswell

Try the book "Numerical Recipes in C - The art of Scientific Computing" by Press, Flannery and Teukolsky. It is fairly new, published by Cambridge University Press. I haven't seen the C version yet but if its anything like the Fortran version its well worth the money.
