[comp.sources.wanted] Test cases for DES algorithm

swh@hpsmtc1.HP.COM (Steve Harrold) (05/13/88)

Recently, a suite of test cases for the DES algorithm was posted to the net.

Does anyone remember which notes group and approximately when? I would like
to obtain a copy of it.

First of all, start an newsvote (news archiver) on your system, than you
and a few other guy's doesn't always obtain everything twice !

                                                      NEWSVOTE(1)

NAME
newsvote - vote for articles to be saved in a news archive

SYNOPSIS
     newsvote [ -v ] [ -s ] [ -n ] [ -i ] [ -o<dir> ] newsgroup article

DESCRIPTION
Newsvote adds articles to a system-wide news archive. Sav-
ing of articles from the news spool directory into the news
archive is based on voting, although in the current imple-
mentation a single vote is sufficient for an article to be
saved. Each user can vote for articles while reading them,
     preferably with rn(1).

And so on....
