Our hospital uses WordMarc Composer for all of its word processing. We are forever running into the problem of users who have IBM PC clones at home running common DOS word processing software who want to upload or download documents betweens their machines and ours. Currently the only intermediate format we have which is intelligible to both ends is a simple ASCII dump. This results in the loss of a great deal of information (paragraph breaks, underlining, boldface, super- and subscripts, headers and footers) which must be painstakingly recreated by hand. Does anyone out there know of any software (commercial or freeby) which converts between WordMarc Composer format and any other common word processing packages? Please reply to me *by mail* to the address below (this is not my home machine).
