I have these programs that run on a Mac II and they work just fine, but I would like to convert the color pictures I have into black and white, just like a black and white photograph or as if you took your color TV and turned the color controls off until you had a black and white TV. I think you call this process "Gray Scale" where the picture doesn't just have the colors black and white but has various shades of gray also, to compinsate for the lose of colors. The reason I want to be able to do this is so I can display these pictures on non-color Macs, preferably in MacPaint format, on 512KE and other types of Macs, not just Mac IIs. Does anyone know of a program that will convert these color pictures into black and white(gray scale) MacPaint pictures??? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated! Please use one of these addresses, I'm not posting this as myself so doing an "r" to respond to this will not get your message to me. Thanks.
