Hi, I recently borrowed an old trash 80/100 from my mom, and am becoming rather fond of it. I am looking for info and programs, both hardcopy and snarfable. Can anyone rec a good "inside-the-trash80" type of book, with descriptions of hardware and software, including machine language development and cross assembly/compliation? Also, know of any trash80/100 archives or bbs besides akronvax? Cheers, Andy Replies/metoos to andy@ernie.berkeley.edu ...!ucbvax!ernie!andy (cond ((lovep you (quote LISP)) (honk)) (t nil))

It's probably not a good idea to use insulting nicknames when soliciting help.

Are people silly enough that they are offended by the nickname of a computer? Well, yes, I guess a few are. And not just the marketing-droid types only, apparently! Fortunately, many more are not, and I got some fascinating responses and offerred of help. For those who helped, thanks for those who flamed, well, you shall be remembered. (followupers please re-direct to garbage pit group, as I have done) Cheers, Andy
