(I wanted to cross post this, but I decided discretion is the better part of valor :-) I have been trying to format some doc that came with ksh-i and at least one of the documents claim to need -ms to format. But when I do this on the Ultrix and Masscomp RTU 3.0-ish systems, the printed output looks really strange - the text is not justified correctly (a lot of interword spacing causing text to flow into the right margins, etc.). So I am beginning to suspect since two or three different machines format the same doc differently using the supposedly same program and macro package that there are different 'fixed' versions of this macro package. Where is the 'real' package? Or, even better, has anyone gotten the 3 documents from ksh-i to format so that they looked readable? If so, could you email me the exact steps you take (and the name of the system on which you took them)? I only have nroff compatible printers at this time... -- Larry W.
