Hi! I am searching for a modula-2 compiler for an encore multimax parallel processing machine. We are presently using the standard mod-2 compiler distributed by encore, but it does not suite some of our local needs. For one thing, our compiler gives errors when one tries to do type conversion. This is a major draw back for us. Also, we need to implement UNIX type i/o functions such as fscanf and printf. To implement these into our compiler seems to require too much. If anyone has or knows of a compiler suitable for this machine and our *needs* that I have stated, please send me a reply. If you have or know of someone that might have implemented similar extensions to this compiler, it would also be of help.
