I am looking for algorithms that will allow me to process black and white or gray scale images. Some of the processing I am trying to do is "edge detection" etc. Some of this has to do with patern recognition -if thats a more familiar arena to some. Basically I have a digitized image, and I want to process the image by looking for straight lines, maybe thinning thick lines, following curves, and the like.
