I received mail from someone a week back giving me details of how to use
the kermit server at columbia. The address I received has not panned out
and I have received no replies for days. Perhaps I received a wrong address.
Could someone mail me the address for columbia's KERMIT SERVER?

Some time ago, the address was a BITNET site: kermsrv@cuvma.bitnet. Unfortunately, the responses to my requests were send to the UUCP-to-Bitnet gateway (at least in my case). That was because the Kermit server didn't look at the headers, but only at the envelope. If this has been changed now, please post/mail !!!
