[comp.sources.wanted] Jive

root@ozdaltx.UUCP (The Roto-Rooter) (08/03/87)

Does anyone have the source to a program called JIVE?

I understand it takes standard text and translates it into
'jive talk'.

Thanks....

Thanks for the many copys of jive and valspeak.. lots of fun
playing with them.

Have posted a copy of "pig" to comp.sources.games. It is a
pig latin translator.... (There may be a few of you to young
to remember pig-latin.) :-)

Jive - English to ghetto gutteral
Valspeak - English to lotus mellow
Pig Latin - English to Igpay Atinlay

What about Zoom's Ubby-Dubby?
Ubby-Dubby - English to Ubbubbubby-Dubbubbubby

I remember hearing once about a program (I think it was called jive) that
would take it's input and make the output sound like jive talkin'. Does
anyone know where I could get the source for this?

These abbreviations should not be capitalized; Emacs handles the
capitalization of expanded abbreviations during the expansion process.
