My favorite things in the microwave are corn on the cob, straight from the garden, and nachos. To make nachos, put some tortilla chips on a plate. Top with chopped (cooked) meat, chilis, olive, mushrooms, whatever you have around. Top generously with grated or sliced cheese. Microwave for a minute at a time til cheese melts. I put tomatoes on after cooking so they don't get watery. Serve with sourcream if desired. I also made boston brown bread, which came out good. If you need to squeeze a lemon for juice, microwave it for 25 sec. on high before you squeeze it, and it's easier to squeeze. I like to melt chocolate in it, and make baked potatoes. Has anyone tried egg dishes...like quiche or custards? Does anyone have a browning dish? If so, would you recommend one?
