[comp.sources.wanted] Need PD ms macros for nroff

jeff@cjsa.WA.COM (Jeffery Small) (11/29/88)

A number of source code postings have included documentation formatted with
the ms macros. Since these are not included on my SYS-V machine, I would
like to locate either a public domain version of these macros or else a
translator-filter which might be able to take ms input and generate mm output.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The "hum" humanities text formatting package that appeared some time ago
in one of the moderated sources groups contains a version of the -ms
macros called "-mx". I believe they are very similar to the current -ms
macros, and I don't see any copyright messages on them.
