1 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup butter 1 cup salad oil 1 egg 1 T milk plus 1 tsp. 3 1/2 cups flour 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup quick oats 1 cup corn flakes (uncrushed) 1 cup shredded coconut 1/2 cup nuts Mix together and roll in balls size of a walnut. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Recipe can be varied by adding Chocolate Chips. Makes a large recipe but cookies keep fresh indefinitely.
