We need to find a source for *international* map boundary (ASCII) files, specifically Italy with internal boundaries by region. These files are for use with SYGRAPH, a statistical hi-res. graphics program for the IBM-PC from SYSTAT. The SYGRAPH manual describes the file structure which consists of latitude and longitude coordinates for "polygons" of an arbitrary number of points defining region boundaries. Three sources for such map files are listed, but apparently they only supply U.S. maps, and could give us no leads for finding international map files.
