I recently acquired an AT&T 6312 MS-DOS based PC. On it was a screen oriented application that on boot would display the files in the current dir. , Disk/Memory statistics, etc. Well, not having any doc., I decided to try and change the display somewhat. You guessed it... I've rendered it totally useless - can't get it to give me the C> drive prompt!! If anyone has some interim info on how to re-config. 1dir until I can get some doc., it would be greatly appreciated!! Better yet, if you have a copy of the doc. (hopefully there *is* doc. avail.) I'd like that also. If you can help, please call me/send email. Thanx in advance, Tim Tromley AT&T Bell Laboratories att!mtuxo!trt (201) 576-2566

I would boot from a floppy disk and re-edit the autoexec.bat file. I would also not advertise that you are using illegal software. Also, please do not ask people to help with illegal versions of programs. You should talk to the person you obtained the machine from and get all of the manuals and original disks so that you can be legal. -- Bill Wilson (Bitnet: ucc2wew@nauvm) Northern AZ Univ Flagstaff, AZ 86011 {These views are mine and do not necessarily reflect those of my employer}
